WHAT  IS  LAGHU  RUDRA  HAVAN?   The   Vedic   hymn   Sri   Rudram   is   the   oldest   listing   of   the   various   names   of   Lord   Shiva.   Through   the   chanting   of   Sri   Rudram,   Lord   Shiva's   various   attributes   and   aspects   are   revered   and   worshipped.   Chanting   the   Rudram   and   listening   to   the   chanting   are   considered   to   be   of   great   benefit   to   devotees.   When   the   chanting   is   accompanied   with  the  Vedic  fire  ritual,  it  is  called  Rudra  Homam.  Eleven  recitations  of  the  Sri  Rudram  followed  by  one  recitation   of   the   chamakam   are   called   as   Ekadasa   Rudram.   This   also   constitutes   one   unit   of   the   Rudra   Homam.   Eleven   (Ekadasa)  Rudram  recitations  make  one  Laghu  Rudram.    And  Eleven  Laghu  Rudra  (1133  times)  chantings  make  one   Maharudram.   THE  POWERS  OF  LAGHURUDA   The  power  available  during  the  performance  of  this  yagna  is  of  such  a  high  magnitude  that  Yogis  and  Tantriks   activate  mantras  and  become  recipients  of  great  magical  secrets.  The  sick  become  well,  the  unmarried  find  ideal   mate,  debts  are  removed,  wealth  and  power  are  showered,  and  death  is  evaded.  Our  salutations  to  the  Creator,   Destroyer  and  the  Preserver  of  the  wealth,  power  (Shakti),  health  and  happiness.  He  is  the  union  of  both  male  and   female  energies,  he  is  the  great  SHIVA.  It  is  said  the  key  of  Lord  Kubera's  wealth  is  held  by  Lord  Shiva.  All  nine   planets  are  supposed  to  be  under  the  domain  of  Shiva  and  hence,  his  propitiation  leads  to  gain  in  one’s  career,  job,   business,  relationship,  marriage  and  health.  It  is  said  that  Lord  Shiva  and  His  divine  Mother  Annapoorna  bless  one   with  all  the  eight  types  of  wealth.
