ULASAN UMUM BAGI DRAF-DRAF MALAYSIAN STANDARD YANG SEDANG DIBANGUNKAN BAGI TEMPOH 1 DISEMBER 2012 – 31 JANUARI 2013

Dengan segala hormatnya perkara di atas adalah dirujuk. Bersama sama ini disertakan senarai draf-draf Malaysian Standard yang sedang dibangunkan seperti di Lampiran A dan pindaan MS (MS Amendment) untuk ulasan umum. Draf-draf dan Malaysian Standard tersebut adalah mengenai pelbagai barangan, prosesproses dan tatasusila amalan dalam pelbagai bidang industri yang dibangunkan di bawah Jawatankuasa Standard Perindustrian (ISC) di SIRIM Berhad. Jadual pecahan jumlah draf-draf dan Malaysian Standard tersebut mengikut ISC disertakan di lampiran. Penyediaan draf-draf Malaysian Standard serta pengesyoran bagi penarikan balik Malaysian Standard tersebut telah dibuat oleh jawatankuasa berkaitan yang ditubuhkan di SIRIM Berhad yang diwakili oleh pihak industri, kementerian, agensi-agensi kerajaan, institusi pengajian tinggi dan orang perseorangan yang pakar dalam bidang berkenaan. Sehubungan dengan itu, pihak SIRIM Berhad mengalu-alukan sebarang ulasan ke atas draf-draf dan penarikan balik Malaysian Standard tersebut. Bagi mereka yang bukan ahli bagi mana-mana ISC, draf-draf Malaysian Standard yang diterima pakai (adopted) dari standard ISO/IEC, ASTM dan EN boleh diperolehi dengan bayaran seperti tertera. Bayaran boleh dibuat secara tunai/cek dengan tambahan 10% bagi bayaran pos kepada SIRIM Berhad. Tuan/puan juga boleh menyemak dokumen tersebut secara percuma dengan datang sendiri ke Pusat Pengurusan dan Penyelidikan Standard, Tingkat 2, Bangunan 3, SIRIM Berhad. Memandangkan draf-draf tersebut juga adalah hakcipta organisasiorganisasi yang berkenaan seperti STANDARDS MALAYSIA, ISO/IEC, ASTM dan CEN, tuan/puan adalah dilarang daripada membuat salinan dan mengedarkannya kepada pihak lain. AMENDMENT OF MALAYSIAN STANDARD

MALAYSIAN STANDARD MS 1837:2010 INSTALLATION OF GRID-CONNECTED PHOTOVOLTAIC (PV) SYSTEM (FIRST REVISION) The attached amendment on MS 1837:2010 has been approved by Technical Committee Renewable Energies Date: Amd. 1 i) Subclause 5.8.2.5 - to replace the subclause with the following sentence. “The specification for SPD to protect inverter (AC and DC terminal) shall be suitably rated for AC and DC use respectively and in accordance to MS IEC 61643-11 and in conjunction with MS IEC 61643-1”. ii) Subclause 7.2 - to change references to “IEEE 1547 and “IEEE 1547.1” with “BS EN 50178”.
