Equity Market Outlook As of December 2017, JCI moved up 6.78% MoM to 6,355.65. The overall performance of JCI was due to “window dressing” effect which usually happened in December. Meanwhile, the US stock market moved positive (S&P 500 +1.33% MoM) to 2,673.61. The strengthening was underpinned by positive sentiment from tax cut that was approved by the Senate which could help propel economic growth as well as jobs data that was above consensus.
