Krav Maga Global Curriculum Here is the combined curriculum for all the different grades/levels together with those of the various instructor courses offered by our organization. The curriculum is divided to subjects (units), most of them appear here only by name. KM levels are divided into 4 sections: Practitioner Levels(1-5); Graduate Levels(1-5); Expert Levels(1-5); and Master Levels(1-3). There is not much correlation to Belt Levels, however, with regular training it takes around 2-3 years to get G1, 5-7 years to get Expert 1.
Krav Maga Unit 1: History of Krav Maga General Information and Theory (Including: history of Krav Maga, explanations on the way and systematical & logical thinking of the KM, as we teach it; Principles of action and motion behind the attack, defense and release techniques; The essence and nature of confrontation, avoidance, prevention and deescalation.
Krav Maga Unit 2: Teaching Methodology Including the teaching science of KM as taught by the KMG. An integral part of KM is how we teach KM.
Krav Maga Unit 3: Preliminary Considerations Including Safety in training, warm-up & stretching.
Krav Maga Unit 4: How to Handle Falls Falls to the ground or towards large objects.
Krav Maga Unit 5: Attacking Attacking with the Hands.
Krav Maga Unit 6: Attacking Attacking with the Legs.
Krav Maga Unit 7: Defenses Defenses against Punches.
Krav Maga Unit 8: Defenses Defenses against Kicks.
Krav Maga Unit 9: Releases from Grabs, Chokes & Holds At high level.
Krav Maga Unit 10: Releases from Grabs & Holds At medium level.
Krav Maga Unit 11: Releases with Throws When being pushed towards the ground/wall.
