IETA Membership 2017 Membership is open to companies, business organizations and affiliated national and regional trading associations. Current Members include: greenhouse gas emitters, verifiers, certifiers, auditors, investors, insurers, traders, brokers, financial and commodity exchanges and other companies serving the greenhouse gas emissions trading market in developed, emerging economies and developing countries. All prospective members whose application for membership is approved by the Board shall be required to pay in advance a membership fee. The current membership fee structure is: • • • •
CHF (Swiss Francs) 21'600 - per annum in the case of members having their headquarters in an OECD country CHF (Swiss Francs) 10'800 - per annum in the case of members having their headquarters in a non-OECD country Half the above rates in the case of members who are a subsidiary company of an existing IETA member CHF (Swiss Francs) 7'200 in the case of members with a headcount of 50 employees or less.
The membership fee is calculated on a calendar year basis and is payable pro rata from the beginning of the quarter immediately preceding the date of application for Members joining during the course of any year. Membership Application Process Please complete the following steps to join IETA: 1) Complete the attached application form. 2) Confirm that you have read and understood the IETA Articles and Rules, and also provide any additional information about your company that is requested. 3) Return the application form to Stephanie Olegario at
[email protected]. 4) An email will be sent confirming receipt of your application to the email address listed on your application. 5) Your application will be reviewed by the IETA Board of Directors, and any further information that IETA may require will be requested. 6) You will receive an invoice as per the details supplied on the online IETA Application. This invoice will include IETA’s membership fees. Please be reminded that the membership does not officially start until the membership dues are received. 7) Once the invoice has been paid, IETA will supply you with further information on membership, including access to working groups and codes to access IETA's websites members section.
