Ms. Lutfiyya's Webquest on Moles
Day 1: *Click on the mole picture to find an introduction to the concept of the Chemistry mole. As you read through this site, answer the questions that were provided for Webquest Day 1. *Using Microsoft Word, type a summary of what you learned today. It should be 4-6 complete sentences and should include what you learned today about moles, Avogadro's number, molar mass, and anything else that you considered important. Save this document as "Mole Introduction" into the Chemistry folder that is on your desktop. Day 2: * Click on the first picture below to link to today's first website and answer questions 1-4 on Webquest Day 2 handout. * Based on what you know about conversion factors, answer questions 5-6. * Click on the second picture below to find out about how to calculate mole problems. As you read through this information, answer questions 7-12. * Go to quizstar and complete the "Introduction to Mole Concepts" quiz. You may take it over to improve your score.
Day 3: * Use the Inspiration Software to produce a diagram that will help you to solve mole problems. Make sure that you save it to your Chemistry folder that is on your desktop. Click here to get the questions that go with this webquest.
