Grocers in the Community Homeland Helps Feed 300 Hungry Children As part of their commitment to "ensuring Oklahoma's children have enough to eat this school year", Homeland has donated $30,000 to the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma's Food for Kid's program. Homeland's donations will help the program feed 300 hungry children in 53 central and western Oklahoma counties for an entire school year. Homeland has supported the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma for over thirty years, and in addition to cash and product donations, they also participate in the Retail Food Recovery Program, which allows them to collect and distribute perishable foods including deli meat, bakery items, and produce which can no longer be sold.
