need to reset or recovery adtran netvanta 3200 admin password thread546-1648812
Free WAN Optimization Does anyone know how to factory reset or default the netvanta 3200 back to defaults without having the password? IT setup for this router quit, now I need to able to access to the router and change some setting. But dont want to do hard reset to factory, because all the other setting will be erase too. Have you read all the documentation and/or called Adtran tech support? ....JIM.... he didnt leave anything documentation behind. we're a very small company. I did called Adtran supports, they asked me to reset the router and call my T1 provider to help me setup. You can get documentation from Adtran! ....JIM.... you can contact adtran support :

Not sure if you have been able to recover the password for you Netvanta yet, but if you have direct access to it you can do the following: 1. Connect to the unit via the console port using an application like hyperterm. 2. Reboot the unit. During the first 5 seconds hit the ESC key. This should put you in Bootstrap mode. 3. Now type the following --- bypass password then press enter 4. Now type boot and press enter After the router boots back up. You will be able to type enable and it will not ask you for a password. From here you can change the password to what ever you want it to be. Don't forget to save the configuration after making the changes with the copy run start command.
