Season 1 Pilot - 3/21/95 Wisconsinite Dave Nelson lands a job as a news director at a New York radio station and finds himself matching wits with staffers. In the series opener, Dave gets an odd reception his first day on the job when the station owner expects him to fire his predecessor. (Ella Joyce as Catherine) Kurt Fuller as Ed Harlow. Greg Lee as Rick. Wallace Langham as Jeff Adams. Beau Billingslea as Security Guard. Notes: Wallace Langham is a co-star on The Larry Sanders Show (HBO). Beau Billingslea co-starred with Andy Dick in In the Army Now (1994). Kurt Fuller co-stars with Stephen Root in Pandora's Clock (NBC). Ella Joyce was a cast member of Roc (FOX), once directed by James Burrows.

Inappropriate - 3/28/95 After sparks fly between them over dinner, Dave and Lisa try to hide their feelings for each other from their co-workers. Kenny Johnston as Danny. Notes: Catherine celebrated her 35th birthday in this episode. It was discovered in 'The Breakup" that her birthdate was November 15, but since NewsRadio started as a midseason sitcom instead of a full season one, Catherine's birthday appeared to be in March.

Smoking - 4/4/95 It's a drag for Bill when a new law bans smoking in the workplace. Meanwhile, Lisa fears that Joe may have seen her at a movie with Dave. Monte Russell as Paramedic.

The Crisis - 4/11/95 Dave faces two crises in one day: getting a reporter to the scene of a subway mishap, and dealing with staffers' jealousy over a new desk. Steeve Arlen as Bob. Mark Davenport as Delivery Man.

Big Day - 4/18/95 Observing an annual ritual, the staff kisses up to Jimmy---but it's Dave who's doling out the bonuses this year. Meanwhile, someone's using Bill's desk as a wastebasket. Albie Selznick as Copy Guy. Joe Wein as Delivery Guy. Notes: This episode is out of order on my tape; it's after Luncheon.

Luncheon at the Waldorf - 5/2/95 Lisa's suspicious when Bill asks Beth to attend a black-tie luncheon with him. Meanwhile, Dave wants to know what's eating up the station's budget.

Sweeps Week - 5/9/95 Lisa, who frequently chats with her ex-boyfriend on the phone, encourages a jealous Dave to call his old girlfriend back in Wisconsin. Janeane Garofalo as Nancy. Bill Geisslinger as Tom J. Baxter. Notes: Janeane Garofalo is a cast member of The Larry Sanders Show (HBO) and a former cast member of The Ben Stiller Show (FOX), along with Andy Dick.

Injury When Matthew and Joe play a risky game of "who can get the coffee cup off the light fixture," Matthews injures himself and Dave and Beth rush him to the hospital. But when Jimmy finds out that Matthew is without insurance he fears a lawsuit and hires his slick personal lawyer to investigate. Meanwhile, Bill gets WNYX in trouble when he continually utters a word describing a private part of the male anatomy on-the-air. Norm MacDonald as Roger. Bob Odenkirk as Dr. Smith. Wayne Wilderson as OSHA Guy. Notes: Norm MacDonald is a cast member of Saturday Night Live, and Bob Odenkirk was a cast member of The Ben Stiller Show with Andy Dick, and made a guest appearance on The Larry Sanders Show, as Larry's agent and Paula's (Janeane Garofalo, NewsRadio guest star) boyfriend. This episode was pulled from airing after the word 'penis' was used several times in speeches of Bill's. The New York Times reported on March 20, 1996, that they were still working on cleaning it up. After having been pulled twice, the episode finally aired on a Thursday night after the end of the 3rd season.

Season 2 No, This is Not Based Entirely on Julie's Life - 9/19/95 Beth, feeling that the romantic flame is flickering with her `long distance' boyfriend, decides to re-ignite the passion by sending nude photos of herself to her beau in London, which in turn starts a fiery argument between Lisa and Dave over their own amorous adventures. Meanwhile, Joe suspects that one of his WNYX co-workers is stealing his beloved frozen gelato from the office freezer every day. Kyle T. Heffner as Counterman. Neal Lerner as Employee #2. Goofy Ball - 9/26/95 Joe continues his attempts to find Dave a date in New York City, as he thinks that Dave hasn't had any luck with romance since he arrived at WNYX. Much to Dave's surprise and Lisa's chagrin, Joe introduces Dave to some beautiful fashion models who are in the building for a photo shoot. Meanwhile, Bill thinks he's being stalked by a crazed fan and Jimmy introduces the staffers to "the goofy ball," a new toy from a company he recently bought, which turns the office into a silly playground. Dennis Miller as Stalker. Alison Brahe as Sheila. Wendy Hamilton as Emily. Elisabeth Sjoli as Carol. Notes: Dennis Miller was a cast member of Saturday Night Live (NBC), alongside Phil Hartman. He guest-starred in the same episode of The John Larroquette Show (NBC) with Phil Hartman.

Rat Funeral - 10/10/95 The WNYX staffers have grown attached to an office pet, a rat named "Mike," but when rat traps are set-up in the office the group is adamant about saving the life of their beloved pet. Later, when "Mike's" lifeless corpse is found in a trap, the staff holds a funeral at the office with Bill delivering the eulogy. Meanwhile, since Dave is the only member of the staff who doesn't have feelings for "Mike," he feels like an outcast among the group and tries to examine why his staff, including Lisa, perceives him as a cold and heartless person. Mike Starr as Building Super. Marcelo Tubert as Delivery Guy. Notes: Mike Starr co-starred with Joe Rogan in the FOX sitcom Hardball, as catcher Mike Widmer.

The Breakup - 10/30/95 A feuding Dave and Lisa finally decide to make their relationship public knowledge at WNYX, but they're unprepared for the ambush of unsolicited opinions from coworkers. Meanwhile, birthday-sensitive Catherine seeks revenge when Bill announces her special date on the air. Notes: Catherine's 36th birthday took place in this episode (the specific date being November 15, 1995). Thanks to Matthew's discovery of Bill's birth certificate, it became public knowledge that Bill's birthday is June 19, and that his real first name is Evelyn.

Shrink - 11/7/95 When office tension among WNYX staffers hits an all time high, Jimmy brings in therapist Dr. Frank Westford to help revive group morale, but it seems that Dr. Westford and Lisa have shared a past relationship, forcing Dave to feel even more threatened by the doctor's presence. Meanwhile, Matthew alienates his co-workers when he refuses to go home while suffering from a bad cold, and Bill retreats into the new cubicle built around his desk. John Ritter as Dr. Frank Westford. Notes: John Ritter has also guest starred as himself on The Larry Sanders Show (HBO), in the same episode as Phil Hartman.

Friends - 11/14/95 When Dave realizes that Beth is overworked, he suggests hiring a temp to help her, but when Beth brings in her flirtatious friend Sandi the girls re-ignite a destructive chemistry that triggers passion in Matthew and frustration in Joe. Meanwhile, a perplexed Bill runs into trouble with building security guards when he repeatedly forgets to bring in his WNYX I.D. card, and Jimmy's a real cutup with his new paper shredder. Bebe Neuwirth as Sandi Angelini. Tone Loc as Security Guard. Toby Huss as Guard #2. Notes: Bebe Neuwirth has co-starred with Vicki Lewis in two stage musicals, Pal Joey and Damn Yankees.

Bill's Autobiography - 11/21/95 When Bill decides to write his autobiography, his over-inflated ego takes a beating when he realizes his life has been a series of disappointments, and his melancholy mood is further exacerbated when Jimmy successfully pens his own memoirs. Meanwhile, Dave enlists the WNYX staffers to help lift the spirits of their depressed colleague.

Negotiation - 11/28/95 Just as Jimmy decides it's time to find a wife, the object of his affections a stuffy advertising executive visits WNYX; but as confident as Jimmy is at work, his romancing skills leave something to be desired. Meanwhile, after a dispirited Lisa reflects on the success of her younger siblings, she takes a temporary position at MTV, but an interview with the band Anthrax determines her future in this new arena. Also, Matthew's "promotion" goes to his head. Natalija Nogulich as Melanie Sanders. Anthrax: Frank Bello, Scott Ian, John Robert Bush. Notes: The names of Lisa's brothers are Greg, Nick, and Greg(!). The first is 27, and a chief press liaison for the governor of Pennsylvania, the second is head surgeon at Mass General, and the third is a computer game programmer at 23. The name of her agent is Don. We also find out that Matthew is ambidextrous.

The Cane - 12/12/95 When Bill brings a beloved cane to the office, Dave is driven crazy by what he feels is just a pretentious accessory and immature bid for attention. His stress level rises even further when he feels that Lisa is fiercely competing with him for points from Jimmy during an office brainstorm session. Meanwhile, Matthew is obsessed with what he feels are 'hate rays' coming from Joe, and pushes the friendship to the limit, as he tries to get to the bottom of the rift between them. Jane Lynch as Carol. Danny Passer as Lost Guy.

Xmas Story - 12/19/95 Excited WNYX staffers give Jimmy a thoughtful and expensive Christmas gift, but their collective holiday cheer is disrupted when they receive cheap token gifts from Jimmy. Meanwhile, a paranoid Bill is terrified by an `evil' Santa whose threats on Bill's life seem all too real. David Anthony Higgins as Santa. Tone Loc as Lorenzo. Toby Huss as Junior. Notes: David Anthony Higgins is co-starring with Dave Foley and Ellen DeGeneres in the film The Wrong Guy. Tone Loc and Toby Huss reprise the roles they originated in "Friends".

In Through the Out Door - 2/4/96 When Dave must introduce Bill at a local broadcast function he gets a case of jangled nerves, but Bill decides to help coach him through his fear of public speaking. Meanwhile, Matthew feels left out of the office `guy talk' that revolves around sports and gambling and enlists Joe to coach him on manly subjects. Steve Susskind as Milos. Notes: NewsRadio creator Paul Simms is an admitted Led Zeppelin fan. Quite a few of the second season titles are Led Zeppelin album titles, as well as one third season episode, "Led Zeppelin Boxed Set".

The Song Remains The Same - 2/18/96 When Jimmy decides to celebrate April Fool's Day early by pulling a series of pranks on the staff, an embarrassed Bill tries to rise above office antics while giving an interview to a reporter from a prestigious newspaper. Meanwhile, a pressured Dave must decide whether to send Lisa or Matthew to the New Hampshire Primaries. Elsewhere, Beth discovers that a former employee harbored a secret obsession for her. John Posey as Scott Barker. Tom W. Chick as Employee. Gerry Gibson as Brian.

Meanwhile, Bill and Catherine are in the throes of a huge argument, and to further exacerbate the situation, Joe uses his knowledge of technology to fuel the fire. Wallace Langham as Stewart. John Apicella as Washroom Attendant. Notes: Wallace Langham also appeared in the pilot of NewsRadio, as Jeff the sports guy, and is a co-star of The Larry Sanders Show (HBO). At one point, Dave gets nasty towards Lisa, saying, "So if Stewart comes by the office looking to get some, I'll direct him to your desk," but his lips are not in sync with his words. Phil asks, "Your name is Garelli?"

Led Zeppelin - 3/31/96 When Dave and Lisa make their break-up "official," Bill seizes the opportunity to bond with Dave by sharing his own relationship problems. Also, with Jimmy's endless search for a wife going nowhere, he feels the pressure of father time. Notes: At one point, we hear Dave say, "That's supposed to be 'pushy'," but there is a noticeable sound quality difference when he pronounces the last word, and the camera turns to focus on Bill, so we don't see his lips. Also, at the end of the episode, Dave says, "Forget it," but he is mouthing something like, "Screw it." Lisa says, "...but just make sure I'm not down there on the same weekends as Mr. Speedo Man, OK?", but her lips are not in sync with the words.

Season 3 President - 9/18/96 When Dave returns from vacation, he discovers that Jimmy is running for President of the U.S. in a Ross Perot-style manner. Not one staffer can get a straight answer on Jimmy's platform or motivation to campaign, although Dave thinks that he knows the real reason his boss is running for public office. Meanwhile, Matthew returns from his summer vacation with a large mustache, which only serves to distract his co-workers. Albert L. Roker as Guy.

Review - 9/25/96 Dave has his hands full when Matthew, feeling neglected at work, becomes obsessed with the worker bee comic strip character "Dilbert" and quits his job at WNYX to work at a coffee house. Meanwhile, when WNYX gets a mediocre review in a national radio trade publication, everyone reacts as if they've been given a personal bad report card, except for Bill who has his own unique take on the appraisal. Scott Adams as Guy in line behind Dave and Joe in first scene. Michael Adler as Guy pretending to be Scott Adams. Mark Fite as Counterman.

Massage Chair - 10/2/96 When Jimmy has to make some financial cuts at the station, he enlists Dave to break the news to staffers, but the WNYX employees threaten a mutiny when they learn that their coveted office snacks are victim of the budgetary axe. Meanwhile, Bill takes matters into his own hands and orders a special massage chair without Dave's blessing, bringing bad vibrations to an already tense office environment. Elsewhere, it seems that Joe has a crush on Catherine when Beth notices that he's paying more attention to Catherine's repair requests than her own.

Arcade - 10/23/96 When Dave must make some budgetary cutbacks at the station, the old sandwich vending machine is the first to go, forcing Bill into a fit of nostalgic and obsessive reverie for his old lunch staples. Meanwhile, Beth orders a video arcade game for the office, delighting Jimmy and bringing out the most unlikely candidate for playfulness, Dave. Elsewhere, an increasingly insecure Lisa enlists Dave to take their SAT tests over again to prove that her intellectual prowess has not waned. Wesley Jonathan as Kid #1. Orion Courtin as Kid #2. Leelee Soberski as Girl. Roger Hewlett as Vending Man. Eugene Jarvis as Guy #3. Notes: Eugene Jarvis is the creator of Defender, Stargate Defender, and Robotron 2084.

Halloween - 10/30/36 In order to get the staff invited to Jimmy's lavish costume party, Dave and Lisa must prove that the folks at WNYX have Halloween spirit. Meanwhile, Matthew is determined to prove a station invasion of ants to his skeptical group of co-workers, who are just antsy to get to the awards ceremony. Elsewhere, Joe acts more like a bodyguard than a date, when he escorts Catherine to the ceremony. Bob Costas as Himself. Steven Gilborn as Marty Jackson. Kev O'Neil as Bartender. Johnny Crear as Elderly Gentleman.

Daydream - 11/13/96 Heat-induced daydreams plague the staff as they sweat out a day with a broken thermostat. Among the reveries: Matthew is Beth's worst nightmare, and Bill is every woman's fantasy. Lance E. Nichols as George. Charles C. Stevenson, Jr. as Howie. Rebecca Chambers as Jeanette. Mike James as Mohammed. Cheryl Murphy as Shaniqua.

Movie Star - 11/20/96 James Caan stops by while studying for a film part as a radio news anchor, but when Caan becomes more fascinated by the neurotic behavior of Matthew, the wildly egomaniacal Bill stops at nothing to regain center stage. Allan Murray as Salesman.

Stocks - 12/11/96 When Jimmy begrudgingly offers a financially unstable Beth some tips on playing the stock market, she quickly learns that his methods include more madness than logic. Meanwhile, Bill secretly lurks around the office trying to learn Jimmy's coveted stock secrets. Elsewhere, Matthew has returned from a trip to the Orient, where his gifts to the staff inspire wonder and awe, except in Dave, who can't get used to his unusual gift. Meanwhile Lisa, whose chair is so old it's constantly squeaking, refuses to ask Dave for a new chair.

Christmas - 12/18/96 It's Christmas Eve at WNYX and everyone is hurriedly trying to tie up loose ends before they leave for the holidays, but Dave, who is trying to get home to Wisconsin to introduce Lisa to his parents, has trouble leaving on time to catch a plane -- all because he is too busy covering for everyone else. Meanwhile, Jimmy runs his Christmas list of wealthy media moguls by Matthew and Joe for gift ideas, but only Matthew comes up with the right ideas in Jimmy's eyes. Elsewhere, Bill talks Beth into being his dialogue partner for an outside voiceover job. Duke Moosekian as Steve. Terry Rhodes as Roger.

Trainer - 12/19/96 Bill brings impressionable Matthew with him to check out memberships at a prestigious gym, but it's Bill who is quickly impressed when he thinks that the gym's larger than life owner, Eddie Chambers, will be his personal trainer. Meanwhile, at the office, a stunned Beth and Matthew discover something shocking on Dave's birth certificate. When they reveal their secret to Lisa, she also feels completely betrayed by Dave. Elsewhere, a nervous Jimmy enlists Dave's help in polishing his unrefined table manners, as he's been invited to attend an upcoming dinner with President and Mrs. Clinton. Ben Stiller as Vic. Eric Allan Kramer as Eddie Chambers. Patton Oswalt as Guy. Notes: Ben Stiller is a former cast member of The Ben Stiller Show with Andy Dick.

Rap - 1/8/97 Bill finally discovers that his beloved rap music actually has lyrics -- lyrics that offend him to his very patriotic core -- thus prompting him to do several radio editorials on the subject. Determined to teach Bill a lesson about diverse viewpoints, Jimmy brings in his friend, rap artist Chuck D, to discuss his views on the air at WNYX. Meanwhile, when Lisa is voted "cutest radio reporter" by New York magazine, she is torn between her feminist views and the lure of fame, while the reaction of her female co-workers range from jealousy to outrage. Chuck D. as Himself. Vince Ricotta as Photographer. Susan Leslie as Assistant.

Led Zeppelin Boxed Set - 1/15/97 When Bill unknowingly makes Matthew cry in the office, Dave insists that Matthew confront Bill with his feelings. But, Dave's advice backfires when Matthew, feeling empowered by his confrontation with Bill, becomes a menace to his co-workers with his officious behavior. Meanwhile, Jimmy enlists Catherine's help with some gambling tips after he is taken by street cons on his way to the office. Lawrence B. Adisa as Three Card Monte Dealer. David Basultoas as Henchman.

Complaint Box - 1/29/97 When Dave must enforce a new law concerning office diversity and harassment, he installs a complaint box so that WNYX can comply with the new legalities. When the complaints get out of hand, he and Lisa face off in a lawyer's office. Meanwhile, Jimmy takes off on his annual vacation, but stays in close touch with the office by a speaker box that Joe created for him. Elsewhere, Catherine moonlights for a books-on-tape project with Joe's help. Bill Stevenson as Brian. David St. James as Lawyer. Jon Simmons as Dave's Lawyer.

Rose Bowl - 2/5/97 Jimmy, duped by a young collector who sells him a bogus collection of movie memorabilia, takes his case to small claims court with Joe serving as his legal representative, much to the chagrin of the presiding judge. Meanwhile, just a Jimmy thinks he's fighting a losing battle, Joe brings in surprise witness George "Goober" Lindsey. Elsewhere, instead of adhering to normal station policy, Dave assigns WNYX staffers the task of evaluating themselves, but the plan backfires when the ranks turn on each other as well as Dave. David Clennon as Judge. Glenn Walker Harris Jr. as Kyle. George Lindsey as Himself.

Kids - 2/12/97 Jimmy has the staff baby-sit a group of third graders so he can get a date with their teacher. Meanwhile, Dave searches for the owner of a stash of dirty magazines in the office. Stephanie Erb as Teacher.

Airport - 2/19/97 With Dave and Bill get stuck at the St. Louis airport, Lisa takes charge of the office, where she must keep Joe and Catherine from going on a date. Meanwhile, Beth and Matthew visit Bill's love shack of an apartment.

Twins - 3/12/97 An excited Matthew can't wait to introduce his visiting twin brother Andrew to everyone -- but shocked WNYX staffers can't believe their eyes when they meet Andrew for the first time. Meanwhile, Jimmy tries to convince a skeptical Dave that he must, once again, trim the WNYX budget, and implements this latest plan by getting rid of the office furniture; Dave sees beyond the bottom line with all clues pointing to a suspiciously cheery Bill. Jon Stewart as Andrew. Notes: This was the first episode where one cast member was absent throughout the whole episode. Maura Tierney missed an episode because she was off filming a movie titled "The Broadway Brawler" opposite Bruce Willis. Unfortunately, the film production shut down permanenently due to creative differences. On the show, Lisa's absence was due to sickness. (Vicki Lewis missed an episode working on the event movie Godzilla.)

Office Feud - 3/19/97 A constant noise from the office above WNYX is the catalyst for an office feud led by Joe, who thinks that his noisy neighbors have also been sabotaging the office break room, but when Dave uncovers the true mystery, the egg - among other things - is on Joe's face. Meanwhile, Bill receives a tough lesson in diversity from Catherine when she overhears him reading copy for a voiceover job in a language and tone that Bill thinks is politically correct. Elsewhere, a frustrated Lisa has to deal with rotten kids at the White House, where she is covering the annual Easter Egg roll.

Our Fiftieth Episode - 4/2/97 Dave and Catherine try to bail Bill out of a crazy situation when he is admitted to a psychiatric ward after fighting with the traffic police over a minor violation. However, Bill is not in a hurry to return to the real world, as he seems to have bonded with fellow patient Fred. Meanwhile, Joe tries to boost the WNYX listening audience by pushing Lisa's buttons on the air. Elsewhere, Jimmy's unorthodox method of audience research involves Beth interviewing people on the streets of Manhattan. Jon Lovitz as Fred. Notes: In fact, this was the 49th episode aired, as "The Real Deal" required the filming extra scenes with Jerry Seinfeld.

Sleeping - 5/7/97 When station owner Jimmy suffers a mild heart attack, WNYX staffers react in their own inimitable fashion. Meanwhile, Lisa shocks Dave when she announces during the crisis that she wants to have a baby -- immediately.

The Real Deal - 5/7/97 Bill and Lisa conspire to create a new interview program for WNYX hosted by Bill, but their stale interview subjects threaten to throw the whole project into the ratings toilet, until they stumble upon the star of television's highest-rated series, Jerry Seinfeld. Meanwhile, the staff is shocked to learn about Matthew's past love life. Jerry Seinfeld as Himself. Bobbie Brown as ?. Notes: This was supposed to have aired before "Our Fiftieth Episode", but Jerry Seinfeld's scenes were not completed at that time.

Elsewhere, Matthew is jealous when a new office temp, Brent, appears to be taking the "weirdest office person" crown away from him. Meanwhile, Bill tells a stunned Lisa that he is ready to help her realize her dream of having a baby should Dave not be ready for the assignment. French Stewart as Brent.

Space - 5/21/97 In a special effects-laden episode hosted by NewsRadio's Phil Hartman, viewers are asked to imagine the WNYX radio station operating in outer space. In the galaxy of our imaginations, we find News Director Dave still trying to run a tight ship, although some things never change. Dave and Lisa debate whose space pod they'll move into. Beth speaks to Dave via a large video screen, still allowing her to eavesdrop on Dave's office. Joe tries hard to compete with technology of the future, but his quick-fix skills of yore may be putting the station in grave danger. Matthew is in love with Irene 4395, a futuristic robot. Meanwhile, Bill tries to branch into broadcast news in hopes of leaving the radio station before he's fired, too. Lauren Graham as Andrea.

The Public Domain - 10/28/97 Andrea hires an "assistant" to do half of Dave's job, leaving him to deal with minor details, such as Bill's in-house cabaret act and the film crew that is following Jimmy around the office. Lauren Graham as Andrea.

Super Karate Monkey Death Car - 9/4/97 The staff's on pins and needles when the WNYX efficiency expert implements polygraph testing, while Jimmy gets stuck with a batch of poorly translated books. Lauren Graham as Andrea.

French Diplomacy - 11/11/97 A finely tuned episode about a breakup---and a shake-up---at WNYX. Fearing an efficiency expert will frown upon office romances, Dave abruptly dumps Lisa. That news is so distracting to Lisa that she allows Bill to air an inflammatory piece---that he hopes will be a ratings-grabber---advocating the public beatings of foreign diplomats. The gambit worksbut Dave could lose his job because of it. Meanwhile, Joe and Beth are surprised when they learn how Matthew has been filling his free time. Lauren Graham as Andrea. Nancy Bell as Brandi. Edith Barnes as Mrs. Barnes.

Pure Evil - 11/18/97 Dave hopes to win back his old job from Lisa "by embodying pure evil," which apparently includes approving Bill's series of mock---and mocking---Presidential interviews. Meanwhile, Lisa's new office serves as a rest stop for Matthew. George Dobosh as Senator. Grace Morley as Cindy.

Catherine Moves On - 11/25/97 Catherine abruptly gives her notice, but when Jimmy asks why, the staff can only offer their own skewed accounts of her final day at the station. With her departure, though, Joe finally realizes the nature of their relationship. Notes: Khandi Alexander wanted to do more dramatic work, like her role on ER, etc. The door has been left open for her to guest star on future episodes. On the show, Catherine left to take a job in London.

Stupid Holiday Charity Talent Show - 12/16/97 Jimmy offers to rehire Matthew if a WNYXer wins a Christmas charity talent show, forcing Dave and Beth to sharpen their respective, hidden talents. Kevin Hamilton McDonald as Throwgali. Tom Parks as Emcee.

The Secret of Management - 1/1/98 Lisa gets a lesson in patience when Jimmy decides to unveil to her his "secret of management." Meanwhile, Bill hires a manservant (Ian Abercrombie), who helps out during a disastrous dinner with Matthew. (Katie Couric and Matt Lauer have cameos.) Ian Abercrombie as Cadbury. Mary Lynn Rajskub as Waitress.

Look Who's Talking - 1/6/98 Though Bill's not kidding around when he plans to adopt a child, his colleagues think he is a babe in the woods when it comes to single parenting. Patricia Place as Rich Woman. Logan Craig O'Brien as Charlie. Jim Hanna as Husband. Kate Gladfelter as Wife. Reed Rudy as Rich Guy.

Chocks - 1/13/98 Bob Odenkirk and David Cross (Mr. Show with Bob and David) guest star on a witty episode about a promise Dave regrets making.
