Dear Omni-Akuatika contributors and readers We are pleased to announce that we have now been accredited for 5 years by the Directorate General of Research and Development Strengthening, Minister of Research, Technology and Higher Education of Republic of Indonesia as stipulated from its decree No. 36a/E/KPT/2016. This is an important milestone in the continuing growth and success of Omni-Akuatika. Accreditation shows our commitment to provide our best performance to promote the theory and practice, innovation, engineering and management as well as social-economic relevant in fisheries and marine sciences fields. Accreditation by RISTEKDIKTI is proof of this commitment, and signifies that we have met the rigorous standards of a nationally scientific journal.
We acknowledge that such milestone is primarily resulted from our outstanding contributors who have decided to disseminate their high quality research work via Omni-Akuatika for broader impact. For all associates, board of editor and management officers of Omni-Akuatika, each of you, in your work with your patients contributed to our achieving accreditation. It is an important accomplishment in which we should all take pride. We thank you for your ongoing support and look forward to working with you for many years to come.
Regarding to this edition (12) and volume (1), content of this current volume consist 8 research papers and 2 mini review. For Omni-Akuatika’s readers, please enjoy for reading and downloading via our website as you need.
As one of platform used for an International Conference, namely Scientific Communication In Fisheries and Marine Science (SciFiMaS 2016) that was held in Jenderal Soedirman University, Indonesia, May 26-27 May 2016, Omni-Akuatika has gaining an attention in term of web visit numbers. Since previous Edition in November 2014 we accounted reader’s visit for more 20.000 times during the last 6 months with a total visitation ca. 35.240 (23/7/2016).
