PrimeSUITE Page: Patient List Ability to Undo No-Show

What It Does: It reverses the No Show action, restoring the appointment back on the Patient List in its original state. The Undo No Show action is audit logged.

Improvements: The Undo No Show action adds the appointment back to the Patient List and the Scheduling page, along with restoring both the Chief Complaint and Comments documentation as well as linked referrals so they do not have to be manually re-entered.

System/User Rights: A new user right ‘Undo No Show’ was created under Registration. Upon upgrade, this right is not checked. How to: Patient List>Right Click on an appt that has been marked as a No Show>Choose “Undo No Show”

Ability to Undo Check-In •

What It Does: It gives you the ability to reverse the check in process. o For scheduled appointments, the patient is listed on the Patient List as if they were never checked in. o Walk-In patients will no longer be listed on the Patient List after the action has been taken.

Notes: o o o

If charges have been entered on the visit id created at check-in, the Undo Check-In action will be disabled. If a clinical note is linked to the visit, it must be unlinked before the Undo Check-In action can be taken. The visit id created on check-in is removed from all areas and will only show on the Audit Log report.

Improvements: The Undo Check-In action adds the patient back to the Patient List as a scheduled appointment with check in, no show, cancel and reschedule options available. For example: If you check in a patient and they decide that they cannot wait and would like to reschedule the appointment, you can select the Undo Check-In action and then reschedule the appointment. The Chief Complaint, Comments and referral authorization (if attached) are moved with appointment and do not manually have to be re-entered. Additionally, if a referral was attached and decremented on check-in, the counter is reset to its previous total.

System/User Rights: A new user right ‘Undo Check-In’ was created under Registration. Upon upgrade, this right is not checked. How to: Patient List>Right Click on an appt that has been Checked-In>Choose “Undo Check-In”
