NCSC has recently released Principles for Judicial Administration. The budget crisis has forced many courts to reconsider reengineering but that must be based on a set of principles to guide the work of the court. This book is intended to serve as a unifying document for all principles. It is clear that these principles are interdependent. The first two sets of principles, which address governance and decision-making and case administration, are foundations that courts need in place to manage their resources efficiently and effectively.
