PROC PRINCOMP The SAS procedure for carrying out a principle component analysis is PROC PRINCOMP. The basic syntax of the procedure is very simple: PROC PRINCOMP ; The procedure options will control printed output, as well as the actual computation of the PCA. Examples of printing options are: NOPRINT PREFIX

- suppress any printed output - assign an alphabetic prefix to the PCA axis labels (defaut = PRIN).

Computational options include: N STANDARD COVARIANCE

- limits the PCA to N axes, where N
