Abstract This research has its origins in February 2006 on the worktable of "Small Firms" organized within the framework of the First Session of the Chair Agustin Reyes Ponce form CUMEX, hosted by the Economic Institute for Administrative Sciences of the Autonomous University of Hidalgo State. A group of researchers from five universities in the country took agreements to form a research network, whose first project would be to determine the small businesses Financial and Administrative Profile in their respective entities, in order to know their problems and to propose alternatives of solution, to preserve the jobs that are extremely needed in the country. Herein are the results of this research.
