Horrible property management. Doesn't fix maintenance issues for many months, even when they are simple. Hard to get in contact with the right people. I would NEVER recommend to live at a property managed by them!

I have been renting from DAK for the past 3 years, before that I rented from the sole owner of that same property for 12 years. Now, I have read some terrible reviews on this site about DAK, but let me just say this, they not only are professional, but helpful when you need it! I would still be living in my apartment if not for health factors that I needed to address, but DAK was SO GOOD to me and wonderful to me while they took over the property. The on site managers were amazingly helpful! And when something major needed to be repaired, I called the main office and it was fixed within a week, two weeks tops if a special part needed to be ordered. I treated my apartment as if I owned it, and DAK soon realized this when I would call about some of the repairs that needed to be done AFTER they took over the property. I am a double amputee, so having big divots in the walkway leading to the building could have injured me. When I called DAK, they had someone out that week to fix it! In winter, the ice and snow makes it difficult for ANYONE to walk, now imagine being a double amputee at 5:00am and having to deal with that! But one call to the onsite managers and the main office, never did I have tp call or worry again! The apartment on Kathleen Court in Franklin is what I always referred to as "The Diamond in the Rough" because it is the hidden gem of apartments in Franklin!

I've rented from this company for 4 years. I recommend them to anyone looking for an apartment. My manager Jim was always very pleasant and was on top of keeping the building secure. I had an issue with something needing to be fixed and talked to Kelly at the office and she went above and beyond to help me to make sure it got fixed. Great company and a quality aparmtment

Do NOT rent from this company! They don't cash your checks for several weeks after you send it and do not have an online payment options. The property manager came into my apartment without letting me know ahead of time. He stated there was an emergency yet never told me after the fact either. I only realized when my locks were different from how I left it. I felt very violated. I would get texts from the property manager harassing me for vacuuming at 7:00PM. He also threatened to call the cops on me for having the TV too loud again at 7:30PM. I tried my best to comply with their ridiculous requests but moving out was the best choice I ever made! Beware!

I have lived here for 5 years and have loved it. problems get fixed quickly and its very quiet. I love the underground parking. The staff remembers your name and I love being greeted like that.

I've been living in a West Glen Property for almost a year now and never will again. The first complaint that I have is the list of things wrong with my apartment. I filled it out when I first moved in, was told I could leave it under my door partially into the hallway, and the building manager would grab it when she came to clean. Didn't happen. And when I went to the office to turn it in the next day I was told it was past the due date so they wouldn't accept it, even after I explained the previous day's conversation. Most disturbing, there was a tenant that had caused multiple police-involved disturbances (I was told 5 by the building manager), including evacuation of the property until 10pm on a week night and police entry and negotiation from 1-3am on a week night as well. After stating what a safety risk it was (as I am pregnant and there was talk of a firearm being the cause) and that I planned on leaving and would take it to court, they decided to terminate his lease. And to top it all off the smell of marijuana overtakes the entire building on a regular basis. The worst part is they know who is smoking and still allow the tenant to live here with no consequence. So disappointed. Thankfully, I will be moving shortly. It's nice to save money on the price of rent here which is close to nothing, but the horrible atmosphere heavily outweighs the phenomenal price. You get what you pay for that's for sure.

Living here was easily my worst rental experience in the 15 years I've been renting, solely due to the apt. manager, Dan. He is rude, dishonest, disrespectful, shady, and awful at communication, and that's putting it all nicely. While I lived here:-Dan raised the rent with less than a 1 week notice during a time we were unable to move out due to a winter clause-The owner hired a drug addict (child of a friend) to clean the complex, and said cleaner stole over $400 worth of my belongings. I informed Dan, who promised for a year to reimburse me before finally telling me the manager told him he didn't need to give me anything-In late 2014, I posted a negative review. Dan bribed me to take it down by saying he wouldn't raise my rent if I removed the review-When I informed him this last summer that my roommate and I would be vacating, he tried to "negotiate" with me while he was drunk/had been drinking-Four days after I gave my notice to vacate, he gave my parking spot (that I'd paid for) to another tenant without any notice given to me, and then got a crappy attitude about it when I brought it up to him-Dan was unable to adequately keep track of his records and had our lease dates 6 months off-Refused to acknowledge or respond to my various email requests to schedule a walk-through at the end of our lease-Shorted my roommate and I $25 on our security deposit refund and then refused to respond to my ...more emails regarding why he shorted us the money.Seriously, unless you're desperate, do not move here, at least not while he's the manager. Chris, the assistant, is really nice, and maintenance is ok (not awful, but not great). Dan ruins it for everyone though.

DO NOT i repeat DO NOT rent from Key Management. I've lived in the black stone apartments for one year and cannot wait to move out. The building manager is EXTREMELY rude and gone as far as hang up the phone on me when i ask a simple question. When you call the office (by the way the office address is not correct on google and is no where to be found) you get about a 25% chance of them actually answering when they say there office hours are 830-4 mon-fri. I left multiple messages for the office and no one returned my calls. Not only is everyone unresponsive but it takes them about 3 weeks after the first of the month to deposit your check, so by the time they deposit your check its time to pay rent again. The apartments are very old and need to be updated (also extremely dirty when i first moved in). My advice look elsewhere, this management SUCKS.
