Involvement in the community is an important aspect of the TTUHSC School of Medicine mission. In addition to health screenings and the student run free clinic, faculty, staff, and students take part in a variety of community fund raising events such as the annual March for Babies benefitting the March of Dimes. Each year, the first year medical student class hosts the City Lights dinner, which is a communitywide event that raises funds for a wide variety of organizations. Pictured is Dr. Steven Berk, Executive Vice President/Provost and Dean of the School of Medicine, at the March for Babies.
