Registration forms are located at the main entrance of the church or in the parish office.

Sacraments Confessions - English - Most Saturdays after the 9:00am Mass; every Saturday 4:00pm to 5:00pm, or by appointment. Confessions - Spanish - Wednesday 6:00pm to 7:00pm, Sunday 12:00 noon-1:00pm. Anointing of the Sick-Communal anointing during the First Saturday 9:00am Mass. Please contact the parish office at the onset of serious illness and for individual requests for the sacrament. Baptism (Infant) - Preparation classes offered monthly except July and December. Bautizos - Pláticas 1er sábado del mes; Bautizos 3er sábado del mes Marriage - 6 months notice to set a wedding date to allow adequate time for pre-marriage preparations. This year’s Annual Catholic Appeal has us reflect upon A Future Full of Hope: Passion for our Faith, Promise for our Future, Care for our Community, and Love for our Family. Cost is $50.00 for the Faith Formation class and an extra $25.00 if your child will be receiving First Communion in the Spring of 2018. Confirmation registrations are also being accepted. You will need to come to the parish office. The first 35 who turn in their completed registration form with their baptism certificate will be accepted. NO EXCEPTIONS.

Religious Education/Faith Formation We have concluded all Religious Education classes until fall. Registrations are being taken now for classes beginning in the fall. We currently have 95 students registered and space is filling up fast. Please register NOW if your student is expected to receive First Penance and First Eucharist. The cost for registration is $50.00 if your student is not receiving sacraments, and $75.00 if they are receiving sacraments.

Pictures from English First Communion are in. Please stop by the parish office to pick them up. There are also some certificates that haven’t been picked up. We are currently looking for classroom aides. Our hope is to have additional aides in every classroom to alleviate discipline challenges, promote prayer memorizations and help with crafts. If you are looking for opportunities for service, please contact the parish office. Please know that you are appreciated and most welcome. June 26th is our first summer teacher meeting at 6:30 pm in the main conference room. I hope to begin on time and to last only one hour. Please call the office if you CANNOT attend.

RCIA: We have concluded our Adult Enrichment classes and we all had a great time. Thank you to Fr. Steve for suggesting the idea. We look forward to doing this again in the future. I will be in the office during the summer. I will be in the afternoon on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday afternoons. PRE-BAPTISM CLASSES Holy Mother Church strongly encourages parents to have their babies baptized within the first few weeks of life. The baptism preparation classes are normally offered the 2nd and 3rd Wednesdays of the month from 7:00 to 8:30pm in the Upper Conference Room in the parish office. The next classes for June will be on the 14th and 21st. Parents and godparents are required to attend.

Registration for the 20172018 School year is now open! St. Philomena School serves students in PreK through 8th grade. Check out our school’s website or call the school office to schedule a tour! Come and check out who we are, you won’t be disappointed!! On Wed., May 24th St. Philomena School held our last PEP Club meeting for the 2016-2017 school year and we handed our annual awards. Congratulations to Carol O’Connor and Kyle and Arlyce Welsh for being awarded the Volunteer of the Year Award. Congratulations to all of our volunteers who received nominations: Stephanie Aritchita, Ron and Juliet Cardenas, Joseph Chakkalakkal, Mike Fletcher, Scott and Nicole Hougham, and Erin Martin. We are so thankful and appreciative of all of our parent volunteers, we could not do it without them! The Jack Nichols award was awarded to Jud and Tina Irish and Scott Johnson. These school parents have given their heart and soul to St. Philomena School and are very deserving! St. Philomena School wishes you all a very happy Memorial Day as we take a moment and remember all of those who gave their life for our freedom!! We have wrapped up our Sunday Youth Group sessions for the 2016-2017 year. A huge thank you to Mike Dolan and Kari Steadman for all their help with the Youth Group over the past year. Thank you to Father Woodland for his unending support of the Youth Ministry program. We are working on making some changes to the program and putting together some wonderful activities and events for next year! See you in the fall! Come and enjoy and wonderful week of CYO Camp this summer. St. Philomena Youth Group’s week at Camp Hamilton is Aug. 7th-12th.
