Make Christmas Bright

Explore the ways you can give: Volunteer Family Store Financial Donations William Booth Society

Spread the cheer! Christmas is supposed to be a time of happiness and hope as we celebrate the birth of our Savior with family and friends. However, for many people on the First Coast hunger, poverty, and other factors prevent them from experiencing the joy of the season. With your help, The Salvation Army of Northeast Florida brings the miracle of Christmas to thousands of people each year through a variety of community programs. There are countless ways you can get involved and help us spread the cheer!

Red Kettle Bell Ringers There's nothing better than the sound of a Salvation Army bell to get everyone in the Christmas spirit! Donations to our Red Kettles fund our holiday assistance programs and benefit struggling families and the homeless. Help us fulfill our need of 20,000 hours of volunteer bell ringing at over 70 locations. Individuals and groups are welcome to ring for as little as two hours, or as much as they would like. Find out more about bell ringing here!Call 904-301-4852 or text JaxKettle to 41444

Can-U-Care food drive Our Food Pantry distributes Thanksgiving bags each November so families can enjoy a wonderful home-cooked meal for this holiday. You can help by hosting a non-perishable food drive within your organization, school, or church. You can collect items for our pantry anytime, or contribute specifically towards our Thanksgiving drive if you collect between September 25 and November 10. To collect now, call 904-301-4785.

Angel Tree Through this program, thousands of children get to experience the delight of opening gifts on Christmas day. The Angel Trees, displayed at various NE Florida businesses beginning in early November, hold the names of children for whom you or your group/company can purchase new clothing and toys. .

Adopt-A-Family Families who qualify for Holiday Assistance and who are also facing unusually difficult circumstances such as a job loss, a death in the family, or illness are placed in our Adopt-A-Family Program. If you or your business are interested in adopting an entire family for Christmas, contact Darlene Uhler-Batiste at 904-301-4841 or [email protected].
