ANGEL TREE Angel Adoption is a favorite among many Mississippi businesses. It is a fun way to get employees in the Christmas spirit while feeling good about giving Christmas to a child or senior adult that would otherwise go without. Companies choose how many angels they would like to adopt and how long they will accept donations. The Salvation Army will collect all donations at the end of your drive – and take a picture with your company representatives in front of your donations to put all over social media, of course. STUFF STOCKINGS We apologize for the inconvenience – Our stockings have already been filled for the year. Stuffing Christmas Stockings is a scaled down form of adopting angels. The Salvation Army will provide your group/company with as many stockings as requested. Employees, customers, group members, etc. fill the stockings with items such as coloring books, cards, toys, socks, and other small items. Each stocking can be filled for under $15. The stockings are given to children and senior adults throughout the holiday season. This is a great option for businesses that may not have a donation area for larger toys. There are a very limited number of stockings available so hurry and sign up before they’re gone! BE A SIGN Your company logo will be placed on a Red Kettle sign at one of over 60 Red Kettle locations for the sponsorship options listed below. You can also bring the whole gang to ring the bell at a Red Kettle while your sign is displayed at your favorite store. Money and items are not the only thing you can donate! TIME is the biggest donation we need people to give during the holiday season. Without volunteers, The Salvation Army cannot operate. We have numerous ways you can share your talents while giving your time this Christmas. The Red Kettle Campaign is The Salvation Army’s largest annual fundraiser with proceeds used to provide programs and services throughout the year.Kettles are located at 65 area businesses throughout the greater Jackson area. It takes an army of volunteers – more than 800 this past Christmas – to man the red kettles. It’s a fun activity for the family, a church or civic group or for an individual, and we know that you’ll be blessed by the experience.
