Optomechanics Mounting Basics
Post Mounted Iris Diaphragms These lever actuated, continuously variable iris diaphragms are designed to provide smooth operation over many thousands of cycles. The individual black spring steel leaves pivot within a black anodized aluminum housing. All iris diaphragms come complete, mounted on a 3" (75mm) long 1/2" diameter post. The user can easily exchange post sizes.
