I have severe pain in my left shoulder, could you please help me read and understand the following Xray report? and what to do? No fracture or dislocation is present. There is straightening of the cervical lordosis. Moderate narrowing is seen at C4/C5, C5/C6 and C6/C7 disc spaces. Anterior and posterior osteophytes are seen from C4 through C7 vertebral bodies. My dad is suffering from twitching pains and numbness and stiffness since a long period and when we consulted a neurologist he said that my dad has got osteophytes followed by a MRI scan. His report says that he has got c4/5 posterior disc osteophyte complex causing moderate cord compression and B/L C6 root compression. Sir I am suffering from lower back & neck pain since 3-4 years. I have done MRI of three portion, there are mention Reveals straightening of the lumbo sacral spinal curvature. There are small anterior osteophytes with schmorls nodes at L3 level. L3-L4 disc shows mild posterior bulge indenting the thecal sac. Disc dessication with diffuse disc bulge at C4-5 level causing compression of thecal sac underlying spinal cord with focal hyperintensity with spinal cord at C5 level. My Dear Dr. Sharma, Hope you will be kind enough to go through my letter. (1) I am now running 71. A retired Prof, living my days on meagure Pension only. I have a pain in my right knee, developed few days (10 days back) perhaps due to a couple of Jerks received in a City Bus while on standing position inside the Bus. Afterwards I then receive a pain just at the left side below my Right Knee where calf and Thai mushes join, a place where generally you may receive pain when colliding with a wooden chair. I had a long faith on Homeopathy. But good prescribes are a few! (2) If I hold my Knee and press it by Thumb I am feeling mild pain. If I walk a few distance I am feeling great pain, and walking is a must for my Teaching Job (my earning bread also) to students home. I drag the feet and some how manages to walk or cover distance. Some times during rest pain aggravates, as if some one scrapping my knee. If I stand up from sitting position I feel pain there. If I take rest in between walking it is good for me. I have to climb steps 45 numbers 3 to 4 times a day. (3) My ankles gets swallowen at the late afternoon / early evening. When I lie down on my Bed it becomes lessen and in the morning very little swallow persists. I had an Uricacid problem before. For that I used to take Urtica Uranes Q (20 drops) Morning and Evening and Ledum pal 1M. (4) I used to go to Urinate after every one and half to two hours interval in the Night after taking my bed at 11oo IST till morning at 0500 IST. Afterwards Urines are not frequent during the day. After 2.5 to 3 hours I pass my Urine. Colour of Urine more or less clear, less tubid. But some smell is there, not very Offensive. (5) My sleep is Normal. Some times feeling drousy while travelling by Bus after noon or Midday meal. (6) Morning Stool is clear, but I can not with stand pressure. Hurriedly I have to sit over the Uropean type Commode. There is some offensive smell in stool. Colour of stool is yellowish dark. Could you be Kind enough to prescribe Homoeopathic Medicine for my Complaints, for which I shall be grateful to you.
