Training case study: Ambition School Leadership

Ambition School Leadership (previously Future Leaders Trust)

The brief: The People Project were asked to deliver the opening session of the Ambition School Leadership conference weekend; delegates were the 2013 cohort of education leaders and the topic of the session was 'developing resilient leaders and staff within education'.

What we delivered: "The best conference session I've been to for a long time" "The theory of burnout was very interesting from a Leadership perspective, and the speaker was very engaging and approachable" We delivered an experiential workshop which allowed delegates to quickly understand our key psychological models and then apply them to their own experiences as individuals, leaders and managers. By the end of the session, delegates were able to understand the impact of low resilience on their physiology and psychology, and also to understand how this could impact the performance of their school. We shared a series of memorable techniques for leaders to take back to their organisations to improve individual and organisational resilience.
