The Twelfth Circuit Judicial Nominating Commission announces the list of applicants to be considered for nomination to fill the vacancy on the Circuit Court of the Twelfth Judicial Circuit in and for Manatee County, created by the appointment of Judge Charles Sniffen to the Circuit Court. The following individuals have applied to the Twelfth Judicial Circuit Nominating Commission for nomination to the County Court of the Twelfth Judicial Circuit:

The commission encourages and seeks comments regarding qualifications of these applicants from the public and from members of the Bench and Bar. Comments may be addressed to A. James Rolfes, Chair, Twelfth Judicial Nominating Commission, 401 N. Cattlemen Road, Suite 300, Sarasota, Florida 34232 or
[email protected] and must be received before 5:00 p.m. on September 12, 2017, to be considered by the commission. The commission will meet on September 13, 2017 at 1:30 p.m. at the Manatee County Judicial Center, 1051 Manatee Avenue West, Bradenton, Florida to determine which candidates will be interviewed by the commission. The commission will conduct interviews on September 20, 2017 at the Manatee County Judicial Center, 1051 Manatee Avenue West, Bradenton, Florida and September 27, 2017 at 9:00 a.m., if necessary, at the Manatee County Judicial Center. The commission will submit the names of the nominees for this vacant judgship to Governor Rick Scott by September 29, 2017.
