A candidate must have the Malaysian Education Certificate (SPM), or equivalent, with credits in Malay language or credits in July paper Malay language, and a pass in history subject; and

A candidate must have Malaysian Higher School Certificate (STPM) with at least Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) 2.00 and have at least Grade C for Subject Grade Point (SGP 2.00) in General Studies and Grade C (SGP 2.00) in two (2) other subjects; or
For Candidates from Matriculation •
A candidate must pass Matriculation under the Ministry of Education Malaysia (KPM) /University Malaya Foundation Science Islamic Studies / UiTM Foundation Science Islamic Studies / UiTM Law Foundation Islamic Studies with at least CGPA 2.00; or
For Candidates with Diploma / Equivalent • A candidate must have obtained a Diploma or other equivalent qualifications recognised by the Malaysian Government and approved by the Senate; or •
A candidate must have Malaysian Higher School Certificate (STPM) in 2013 or earlier with at least CGPA 2.00 and have a t least Grade C (SGP 2.00) in General Studies and Grade C (SGP 2.00) in two (2) other subjects;
