General Management Response Findings of this evaluation are a fair reflection of programme achievements, challenges and lessons learned
Recommendations Recommendation 1 : The 7th CP should consolidate on the gains made. The three focus areas are still pertinent and it is important to build on these successes so that the achievements are sustained. It is recommended that UNFPA should upscale in areas it has registered success.

Recommendation 6 : Support initiatives that are designed to attain the African Union’s Campaign for the Acceleration of the Reduction of Maternal Mortality (CARMMA). This would involve the conduct of a needs assessment and a robust resource mobilization plan. UNFPA supported health facilities should be upgraded to deliver BEmOC and CEmOC services with integrated FP services and commodities.
