Overview This document aims at providing a functional overview and the usage of the Style & Casting Inventory module of Diaspark Jewel ERP Software. The document provides user with the specific instructions that will be needed to use Style & Casting Inventory module. This guide introduces the basic features of Style & Casting Inventory module and describes each menu option in detail.
1.1 Intended Audience This document is intended for the users of Diaspark Jewel.

Diaspark Jewel : Style & Casting Inventory Module Inventory module keeps track of the items that you receive, issue or transfer. For efficiently managing the processes involved in Inventory Management, items can be categorized, so as the common attributes can be grouped together in one category. Setting up item details, reduces the redundant procedure of entering the details every time you record an Issue, Receipt, Adjustment or Transfer entries. You can also edit this information at the time of recording the information. Various Transactions involved in Inventory Module helps in making Transfer entries for transfer of goods from one business unit to another or from one department to another. Transfer is one of the vital functional transactions of Diaspark Jewel. Diaspark Jewel helps you in keeping your inventory cost at the minimum and helps in optimizing your inventory levels. Inventory reports can be used to find out details of receipts, issues, transfer entries and adjustments made. .
Highlights -
Inventory types available are Standard(STND), Sample(SAMP), Salesline(SALN), Special orders(SPO), Customer Repair(CUST), Closeouts(CLOS). RFID Tags can be generated with Diaspark Jewel’s Inventory Module. STND Type is for standard inventory. SAMP type shows stock for sample. SALN type shows stock for Line. SPO shows SPO Orders and Stock Cust shows Stock for Return and Sendback. CLOS shows close out stock that is non selling items. Production Plan sheet also shows plan sheet for all these types of inventories. All Inventory reports has this inventory types in criteria. Physical Inventory can be taken for these inventory types. All Major Transaction screens has different menu option for each of these inventory types e.g. sales order, sales memo, contractor memo etc.

Setup Procedures: Following are the different setup that are provided to create master data

Location This feature helps user to add location ids and description. To open this setup click on Module Style & Casting Inventory Setup Location
Enter a unique location id
Enter location description here
3.2
RFID Devices RFID scanning devices can be added here. It helps you to record scanner name and IP address. To open RFID devices setup , go to Module Style & Casting Inventory Setup RFID Devices.
Enter scanner name and ip address at the respective fields.

Transactions This section helps user to understand different transactions available with Style & Casting Inventory module and guides at entering values at various transaction screens available.
4.1
RFID Tag With the help of this option RFID tagging can be done. To open RFID tag window, click on Module Style & Casting Inventory Transactions RFID Tag.
Selected filename will appear here.
Enter / Select location and prod type at the respective fields.
Enter / Select style id. Enter qty and price.

Style & Casting Inventory Module
Barcode Tag This feature helps user to generate and print barcode tags for style / item (s). To navigate to this link, click on Module Style & Casting Inventory Transactions Barcode Tag. Click to copy style from sales transaction.
Click to copy from style list.
Enter quantity of barcode to be generated.
Enter / Select category and item id.
Price Factor: Select price factor from drop down list at corresponding box. Update Price: Update price button helps user to enter updated price of style/item at barcode tag. Copy From Style: If User wants to copy styles from master then he/she can choose this option. Details of the Selected styles can be copied into the grid and the additional information for the bar code tags of the items can be entered. On clicking at button, following window gets opened from where user can browse and select the style. Click to copy selected style.

Copy From Transaction: Styles from a given transactions (sales, purchase, contractor, production transfer, workbag, style, customer return, repair invoice and excel workbook) can be copied into the grid and the additional information for the bar code tags of the items can be entered. window gets opened from where user browse and select file name from which transaction is to be copied.
These style tags can be printed using the print button. You can print different types of bar code tags. The barcode generated can be viewed as:

Production Transfer Production Transferred is used in following cases Transferring one style to other if the style is lying at a stage where no workbags exist. Transferring style from one stage to other e.g. RTS to QC where a workbag is created for the transferred style. Taking stock from Lost and Found Component Breakup where a style is break to get diamonds, metal, finding etc. Transferring style from one production type to other e.g. from STND to SAMP etc. To navigate to this link, click on Module Style & Casting Inventory Transaction Production Transfer.

Transfer-Prod Type User can use this screen for stage transfer of style from one prod type to another. For e.g.: User can transfer from Standard prod type to Sample prod type.

Transfer - Lost & Found User can use this screen to record lost and found items. When an item is lost and found again, it can be added to inventory with the help of this screen.

Transfer – Component Break-up When style is break up in components then user can make use of this screen. For e.g.: when a style is break it will be an issue from the style and receipt will be in Metal, Diamond, Stone and Diamond Set. This will increase inventory of metal, diamond, stone and diamond set by quantity received.

Transfer – Approval For any of the transfers made with the help of above options are needed to be approved.

Click to approve the selected transfer
This screen will list transfer transactions made at their respective tabs i.e. Prod Type, style (same price), style (different price), Component Break-up, Lost & Found etc.

Physical Inventory This option provides user with the facility to enter, adjust and post physical inventory data. To navigate to this link, click on Module Style & Casting Inventory Transactions Physical Inventory.

Entry This option helps user to make an entry of the physical inventory of the items within a particular period.
