SERVE STEWARDSHIP THOUGHT Each year at tax time, we conscientiously give “to Caesar what belongs to Caesar.” Does my stewardship indicate that I am as faithful about giving “to God what belongs to God’?

PENSAMIENTO ADMINISTRATIVO Cada año en tiempo de impuestos, concientemente damos "al Cesar lo que es del Cesar. Mi liderazgo indica que fielmente doy "a Dios lo que es de Dios?

Nurses Notes October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month Types of Breast Cancer, Cont’d  Non-invasive breast cancer. The majority of non-invasive breast cancers are DCIS. In DCIS, the cancer cells are found only in the mild duct of the breast. If DCIS is not treated, it may progress to invasive cancer. In LCIS, the abnormal cells are found only in the lobules of the breast. Unlike DCIS, LCIS is not considered to be a cancer. It is more like a warning sign of increased risk of developing an invasive breast cancer in the same or opposite breast. While LCIS is a risk factor for invasive cancer, it doesn’t actually develop into invasive breast cancer in many women 

Invasive Breast Cancer. Invasive or infiltrating breast cancers penetrate through normal breast tissue (such as the ducts and lobules) and invade surrounding areas. They are more serious than noninvasive cancers because they can spread to other parts of the body, such as the bones, liver, lungs, and brain. Generally, early breast cancer does not cause pain. Even so, a woman should see her health care provider about breast pain or any other breast cancer symptoms that do not go away.

Breast Cancer Signs and SYMPTOMS  A change in how the breast or nipple feels. You may experience nipple tenderness or notice a lump or thickening in or near the breast or I the underarm area.  A change in how the breast or nipple looks. This could mean a change in the size or shape of the breast or a nipple that it turned slightly inward. In addition, the skin of the breast, areola or nipple may appear scaly, red or swollen or may have ridges or pitting that resembles the skin of an orange.  Nipple discharge.

Next Week: Early Detection Plan PLEASE- Remember to use the phone in the office or at the AV area in the hall and not a cell phone to call 911. Your cell phone will reach Sacramento CHP and precious time will be wasted.
