IBPS releases notifications on recruiting Probationary Officers and Clerks. There are Prelims as well as the Mains in both IBPS PO and IBPS Clerk exams. In this session we will discuss IBPS Clerk in detail. We will focus more on the Mains exam of IBPS Clerk. The tentative IBPS Clerk Exam date schedule for the Prelims are 8th, 9th, 15th& 16th of December; while the date scheduled for the Mains is 20th January 2019. Eligibility Criteria: Age: The aspirant must be at least 20 years of age, and should not be more than 28 years.
Educational Qualification: He/ she should have possessed at least a Bachelor’s degree in any stream from a recognised University. The aspirant should have passed English at Matriculation/HSC/Intermediate/Degree level. A certificate should be produced as a proof of being qualified in the examination. Preparing for IBPS Clerk Mains: It is mandatory that you are clear about the syllabus for Mains of IBPS Clerk. You should follow the syllabus to set the time-table for preparation ofIBPS Clerk Mains. Analyse the different topics of each subject and find the most difficult subject. Start with the difficult subject as it requires more time. Make note of important points as well as some quick tricks to solve a question faster. After completion of each subject, solve the practice tests, either from question banks or online. Analyse the areas you went wrong while solving the paper and work for improvements. As you work on each question paper, you learn to manage the time as you realise how much time you need to solve a particular question. However, it is also important to maintain accuracy as there is negative marking for the wrong answers. Once you complete solve each practice paper and work on the improvements, it is time to solve the mock tests. Mock testsalso play an integral role in the preparation of IBPS Clerk Mains. You could solve mock tests from books recommended by experts or find the best IBPS Clerk mock test online. Online mock tests have unique features and prove to be more effective than the books. Mock tests give you the feel of solving the Real-time question paper. IBPS Clerk Mains is the final step to get to the merit list. Hence, you need to work really hard to score high in each section. For English, you need to regularly solve questions on comprehension. In case of General Knowledge, refer all the GK books and Year Books to get well-versed in Current Affairs. When it comes to Quantitative Aptitude, make note of formulas. Refer the important points as it is easy to recall them during exam. Make sure you take some time to relax so you do not lose your confidence on the Exam day. However, do not waste time and litter around.
